Morning run with Casper today, thoughts drifting back to a simpler time before smartphones and social media dominance.
What sparked this post? A line on the wall at my local church Lake Mary Church where my friend Tom Breckwoldt is actively involved: "Change your campus. Change the world."
My friend's commitment to bettering our world is admirable. He's an inspiration in my life, more than he knows, as we don't catch up as often as we'd like.
This resonates with my recent thoughts shared in "Small is Beautiful." Change begins in our immediate surroundings. By focusing our efforts on our own community, we can make a real difference, one that naturally extends beyond.
Or, as Michael Jackson famously sang, “start with the man in the mirror.” It’s about taking personal responsibility and being the change we want to see.
