“Truth, health, wealth,” is my mantra. I repeat it often to myself, to help me stay on the right path.
#truth doesn’t just mean to be honest. It means working harder to discover the truth. This principle not only motivates me to get my information from numerous sources, but also pushes me to challenge my own beliefs and assumptions.
#health is a precursor to everything else; without health, it’s hard to enjoy other aspects of my life. As you might suspect, it’s easier to be healthy when you embrace the truth. What happens to your body when you overindulge… or exercise too little… or add 20 pounds? The truth can help you make needed adjustments.
#wealth means different things to different people. Some just want money. Others want freedom. I want a bit of both, and I especially value my ability to be self-sufficient and to take care of my family.
The order of these three really matters. Many, for example, pursue wealth at the expense of health… or they sacrifice truth in the race to accumulate money and/or power.
In the coming weeks, I’ll share a bit more about each of these three very important elements.
