Yesterday, during my Liquid - We Make It Easier! 2023 Road Trip, we visited the site of the Blücher sinking in the Oslofjord, Norway.
On April 9, 1940, Colonel Birger Eriksen made the decisive call to open fire without one more warning shot on the German cruiser Blücher, striking it with shells, and torpedoes, leading to its sinking.
This action marked a turning point, as Norway had maintained neutrality until then.
